Culture Evening on Cape Clear Island

 A Culture Evening is planned for Club Cléire for Friday 20 September next between 8 pm and 10pm for all the family. There will be emphasis on traditional music, song and dance and all who can play a tune or sing a song are cordially asked to contribute to the occasion. Fergal Mac Amhlaoibh from Dún Chaoin will be accompanied by Remí Bouguennec from Pedernec in Brittany as special guests for the occasion. Remí will be pleased to play traditional music from his region. Some of the group of resident Island musicians which is going from strength to strength in recent years are also expected. We are grateful to Ealaíon na Gaeltachta Teo which has part-funded this occasion.
